Our creative process is unlike any other. Our minds are constantly flooding with different ideas, styles, designs, and color palates. The list goes on. As a couple we have found our passion. To restore history. We spend many week nights and weekends salvaging antiques, furniture, and collectible items. For many couples date night is dinner and a movie. For us we go to auctions, garage sales, and estate sales! We wouldn't change a thing!
MEET THE COUPLE...
Tony grew up on a small town Minnesota farm. For Tony, using the tools and machinery he grew up with comes to play within the craftsmanship and designing process. Making connections from his past, reclaimed barn wood is something used in many pieces to hold true to the farmhouse style he grew up with.
Nichol has always had an eye for detail and design. Creating from a very young age and holding the MVP for master of DIY. Choosing color schemes, hardware, fabric, staging, and being the driving force for design is no easy task. Dahl is destined for design.
SO, HOW DID YOU GET YOUR NAME (A FRIEND OF OURS ASKED)?
Well, it all started when Tony's daughter (Kylie) moved back home. His daughter graduated from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a BFA degree in graphic design and drawing. Coming from a design background, Kylie has always used her passions and found a way to combine them, just like her father. When Tony and Nichol asked for her to come up with a name for their business, there was no hesitation. And so the brainstorming process began. Finding a way to combine passions, Kylie started to combine their names... Tony and Nichol.. To.. Nic.. TONIC SALVAGE. BOOM.
Like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West (KIMYE) Tony and Nichol (TONIC) are the power couple of restoring history. Destined for success.
